StorageMart is a family-run business operated by the Burnam family. As industry pioneers, the Burnams have been involved in the acquisition, development and management of self storage facilities since1974.

The executive team of StorageMart, Mike Burnam, Cris Burnam and Steve Dulle were previously CEO, COO and CFO, respectively, of Storage Trust Realty(NYSE: SEA) where they oversaw the acquisition, development and management of more than $600 million in self storage facilities.

The team took Storage Trust Realty public in 1994 and in 1999, Storage Trust was acquired by Public Storage. StorageMart was formed later that same year. Today, StorageMart operates more than 51 facilities with more than 3 million square feet of storage space.
