Mike Burnam, Chief Executive Officer
Burnam has been the Chief Executive Officer and a Trustee of the Company since its formation. He previously served as the President of Burnam Holding Companies and Chief Executive Officer of Storage Trust Realty. He began his career in real estate development, and then moved into self-storage management in 1977. Mike has overseen operations for BHC since 1983. In 1995, Mike Burnam served as President of the Self Storage Association, a leading industry association. Mike received his B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri in 1975.
Cris Burnam, President and Chief Operating Officer
Cris Burnam has been Chief Operating Officer and a Trustee of the Company since its formation in 1999. From 1994-1999 he worked at Storage Trust Realty as its COO. Prior to 1994, he was one of the founders of Burnam Holding Companies and served as Vice President in charge of Finance and Acquisitions from 1987-1994. Before 1987, he was a commodity trader for Cargill, Inc. Outside of work, Cris serves as the Vice President-Central Region Board of Directors of the Self Storage Association and as the Chairman of the "Large Owner's Group", a select industry group with 80 members representing over 95,000,000 square feet. Cris received his B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri in 1985 and also studied economics at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan.
Steve Dulle, Chief Financial Officer
Steve Dulle has been Chief Financial Officer of the Company since its formation. Previously, he worked for Storage Trust Realty. Prior thereto, Steve was the Chief Financial Officer of each of Colonial Storage Centers I, Ltd., Colonial Storage Centers II, Ltd., and Colonial Storage Centers III, Ltd. He was also the Secretary and Treasurer of Colonial Storage Management 85, Inc. and Colonial Storage Management 86, Inc. Prior to joining Colonial in 1980, Steve was a Senior Manager with the public accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick. He received his B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University in 1973. Steve is a CPA and a licensed real estate broker in Texas
Tim Burnam, Director of Development
With 16 years of storage experience, Tim Burnam was formerly vice president of Construction and Development for Storage Trust Realty. In that time, he developed more than 2 million square feet of self storage property.
