Especially in the first year of life, a child goes through an unbelievable amount of clothing. There are two ways to defray the cost of all those onesies, tiny socks, and adorable dresses and rompers.
The first is to buy gently worn baby clothing. It will look like new—and cost way less than buying new.
The second is to buy all your baby’s clothes brand new (because it’s fun and it’s all so cute and you just want to, even if it doesn’t make sense!) and then sell it to a resale shop after your baby outgrows it. Although, if there are more babies on the way, you’ll obviously want to hold off on that step for a while.
