These are just a few tips for wrapping a gift, and there are many more complicated techniques you can use!
- Find a space. It is much easier to wrap gifts if you have room to roll out your paper and have your other supplies at hand. A table, workbench, or clear floor space is perfect!
- Measure Twice, Cut Once. Starting with the correct size of paper is paramount to wrapping a gift. The paper should be just a little longer than gift, and the ends should cover just over half of the height of the ends of the box.
- Tape Strategically. Try to line the paper up so that seams are near the edge! This hides the seam and gives a cleaner look to the gift wrap.
- Fold the Edges. When you start the ends, fold the last edge to finish off the wrap with a nice straight edge.
