The ICS is hosting a fun-filled day of Celtic music and Irish dancers, starting at 4:30 p.m. on March 17. All are welcome and tickets, which are available at the door, are $10 for non-members and $5 for members.
Come for some of the best Irish food around, including Irish potato boxty, lamb stew, and shepherd’s pie. Entertainment will be provided by the five-piece Celtic band Fraid Knot. The pub fills up fast on March 17, so consider buying VIP tickets ahead of time.
All-day drink specials, live fiddlers, Irish dancers, $5 Guinness pints, and food features are all planned for March 17. Doors open at 10 a.m.
Live music starts at 11 a.m. and features Bitterweed Draw, Fire Next Time, the River Jacks, and the Shillelaghs.
With three locations in Calgary, Ceili’s offers options on March 17. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the festivities include bagpipers, Irish dancers, and traditional Irish food and drinks.
There will be Irish music, dance, and fiddlers all day, plus the usual in-season produce, including beets cabbage, carrots, and potatoes.
Celebrate the luck of the Irish by sampling some of their best beers, whiskeys, and liqueurs.
They only have them once a year, so stop by on March 16 or 17 for their famous Bailey’s cupcakes.
