Severe weather struck the Midwest last night with heavy rain, hail, high winds, and even tornado touchdowns in the western half of Missouri.
Thankfully there are no current reports of fatalities from the storm but many are dealing with the damage from baseball sized hail and winds strong enough to snap trees and tear rooves off of homes.

A shelter has been opened in Oak Grove, MO at the Civic Center (2110 S. Broadway) so those affected in the surrounding area have a place to stay and get connected with valuable resources to identify and take next steps. Some of the worst reports of damage in the state were in the Oak Grove area and we urge everyone to connect with the Red Cross for help.
