They work hard every day and we\u2019re always looking for ways to attract and retain great talent.\u00a0 Because we are family-owned, we take great pride in the environment we\u2019ve been able to craft over the years. Open and honest communication coupled with room for development and advancements is paramount and it is with that in mind we proudly announce a new addition to our team, Lise Nyrop, Director of Human Resources.<\/p>\n

Welcome New HR Director, Lise Nyrop<\/h2>\n

Lise (pronounced Lisa) comes to us with an extensive background in HR developing programs for student workers and several other programs that are helping businesses adapt to better serve employees. \u201cLise\u2019s dedication to employee engagement made asking her to come aboard a no-brainer for us\u201d said StorageMart President, Cris Burnam<\/a>. We can\u2019t wait to see new programs take shape over the coming months as Lise helps us work toward being a destination employer in the self storage industry.<\/p>\n

Same Family Business, New Generation<\/h2>\n

We are also excited to announce that the family-owned business is expanding into a new generation as Alex Burnam joins our team as a Senior Acquisition Analyst. Over the years, Alex has held many summer and intern positions in several departments throughout the company and now with a dual degree in Legal Studies and Finance as well as some real estate experience under his belt, Alex is excited to join the family business helping us streamline the way we grow the business with new properties. \u201cIt means a lot to me to be a part of the family business. I remember at a very young age going to the old headquarters to see my grandpa, so things have really come full circle and I\u2019m ready to hit the ground running.\u201d<\/p>\n
