Join us as we enlist designers, contractors, landscapers and other home improvement professionals to transform the homes and lives of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.storage-mart.com\/blog\/storagemart-continues-military-makeover-collaboration-meet-the-moyers\">military families<\/a> across the country. Help starts at home for veterans on Military Makeover.<\/p>\n<h2>Meet the Harrison Family<\/h2>\n<p>Casey Harrison is a veteran of the Iraq war where he served as a lead vehicle driver. Multiple IED detonations and enemy fire has left Casey with a ringing in his ears, anxiety, and PTSD. A stepfather to three daughters, he and his wife Crystal live in a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. The home is in desperate need of improvement, with leaky seals, windows that are not airtight, and siding that is in need of replacing. Military Makeover will be replacing the siding and repairing the seals to help the house stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They will also replace the windows, and create a basement retreat for when Casey has a PTSD episode. During the renovation, StorageMart is providing free storage close to the Harrison&#8217;s home for the duration of the renovations, donating a large unit for them to store furniture, clothing, and personal belongings, saving them the need to pay for storage or find space at friends&#8217; houses.<\/p>\n<h2>StorageMart Supports Military and Veterans<\/h2>\n<p>Whether actively deployed, relocated for training, or stationed away from home, military members sacrifice much to protect our freedom and our way of life.
