Blair\u2019s Tree of Hope (BTOH) in Minneapolis, a children\u2019s cancer charity, has an inception story that is both inspiring and tragic. Blair\u2019s Tree of Hope started with an idea. The organization was inspired by the struggle of one brave little girl \u2013 Blair \u2013 who fought and lost against cancer. It was during the months of hospital visits and treatments and the loss of routine that the idea for the organization came about. Kim and Tom Anderson, parents of Blair and cofounders of Blair\u2019s Tree of Hope, latched on to their daughter\u2019s idea of helping families who were going through the same struggles that the Anderson family had endured, helping Blair\u2019s legacy live on.<\/p>\n Blair\u2019s Tree of Hope provides aid to families who must forgo regular routine due to doctor\u2019s visits, hospital stays, and medical travel.
