Playing Card Garland
All you’ll need is a few decks of cards, a hole punch, red or pink string, and some colorful ribbon to make darling garland. Simply punch holes in all of the “hearts” cards and use your ribbon to tie them onto a long string.
Create a Hot Chocolate Bar
Set up a hot chocolate bar to surprise your children when they get home from school—and leave it up for a long weekend. Fill mason jars with homemade marshmallows (you can even use cookie cutters to make them into hearts), cinnamon candies, chocolates, peppermints, and whatever else you can think to use. Put out some darling mugs and use a chalkboard to advertise your menu. Remember to be creative with your napkins, tablecloth, and tags for your jars.

Show Some Love to Your Mantel
We go all out with our mantel for Christmas, but it’s also an easy way to bring love into your home to celebrate Feb. 14. Instead of using only red, think about using a soothing palette of pink, white, gold, and silver—just like A Shade of Teal
did. (Isn’t the pink-and-gold heart ribbon wreath darling?)
Leave it to Martha Stewart to turn plain old waxed paper into something special. These crayon hearts
are a fun project for kids and adult to work on together—and they’ll definitely add cheer to any décor.
