StorageMart Honors American Veterans

Columbia, Missouri – October 11, 2013 – StorageMart is proud to announce they will be partnering with the Heart of Missouri Chapter of the American Red Cross to host the Central Missouri Honor Flight the evening of Tuesday, October 15, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Columbia, MO.

“We’re grateful to have this opportunity to honor our veterans and recognizes the sacrifices they and their families have made for this country,” StorageMart Marketing Director Sarah Little said.  “We are pleased to partner with the Red Cross and Central Missouri Honor Flight to support the important work they are doing in our community.”

Spectators may begin gathering at the Courtyard by Marriott, located at 3301 Lemone Industrial Blvd., Columbia, MO, at 8:00 p.m.  The shuttle bringing the participating veterans from St. Louis-Lambert International Airport to the hotel is scheduled to arrive at 10:45 p.m.

StorageMart representatives will be on hand providing refreshments to spectators on hand to help welcome America’s veterans home.

Central Missouri Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices.  The group transports these heroes, at no cost to them, from throughout Central Missouri to Washington, D.C., to visit and reflect upon the war memorials in the National Mall.  Since its inception in 2009, Central Missouri Honor Flight has transported more than 1200 veterans to Washington.  Central Missouri Honor Flight is a totally volunteer-run organization and funded by donations from individuals, organizations and businesses wishing to help honor aging American veterans of foreign wars.
