We Are More Than Storage

StorageMart is not just storage. Yes, Storage is in our name, but so is Mart. Maybe I’m being a little facetious, but many customers are surprised when they find out we have a variety of items to help them store their belongings.

Convenience With StorageMart

Just this past week, two young men came into the office to check out a unit and were shocked to see that we not only sold locks and boxes, but tape, bubble wrap, and even a plastic cover for their sofa. And, the best part; our prices were not over-the-top. When they asked if they could find the exact items elsewhere, I said “Yes, but why would you?” I went on to tell them, “The gas station across the street sells a loaf of bread for $6 that you could buy at the grocery store for three. But, you sometimes buy it because it’s convenient and you don’t want to make another stop. Unlike the c-store, our prices offer you the convenience without the price-hike, so there’s no need to go somewhere else.”

Many of the items we sell in our on-site stores are to help you prepare for moving day.

Boxes come in a variety of sizes for a variety of things. Our most popular is the medium size. It’s large enough to make a dent in packing without being so much you can’t carry it. It’s perfect for kitchen objects but also bedding, tools, DVDs and other small items. Some stores even carry dish-pack boxes for your glassware and plastic cup collection from the local fast food restaurant. Pick up a wardrobe box for your hanging items in your closet because our box has a bar to hang up your clothes. Why take them off the hanger when you can just grab them from the box to put back in your new gigantic walk-in closet?

Mattress covers are perfect for, well, your mattress. Prepare your mattress for storage by sprinkling baking soda on it; allow it to soak for 10-15 minutes, vacuum and do the same on the flip-side. Your mattress will smell fresh when you pull it out of the bag.

Bubble wrap is perfect for wrapping televisions, mirrors, framed art and a few other things as well. Either secure it with tape or wrap in stretch-wrap to add an extra layer of protection.

You will need a lot of tape and we’ve got you covered there, too. Three-pack rolls of tape are cheaper than buying one or two rolls. It’s durable and thick and will seal those boxes up so nothing will fall through the flaps on the bottom like the paper bag with all your groceries.

Last but not to be least—don’t forget to pick up a lock for your unit. Our disc locks are a great way to secure your unit. Starting at $13.99, these locks come with three keys. The best part, locking your keys in your unit is more difficult because with this lock; you must physically lock the lock before removing the key. The disc lock is the most secure lock on the market, too, because it hugs the latch, making it difficult for someone to pry it off and remove that framed David Hasslehoff poster from your unit.

Our storage experts can make suggestions on the items you’ll need for your unit based on the contents you’ll be storing.
