What payment methods do you take?

Your unit rental payment can come in the form of a check, credit card, debit card, or cash payment available at select locations. You can also sign up for autopay. If you are a Canadian customer, please contact your facility manager regarding debit card processing.

What credit cards do you accept?

In the United States, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
In Canada, we accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.
In the United Kingdom, we accept Mastercard and Visa.

How do I manage my payment methods?

Manage your payment methods by logging into your account in the upper right-hand corner of our website. Once in the account, go to "Settings" and then select "My Payment Methods." From there, you can add or delete the payment methods on your account.

Can I do autopay?

We offer and recommend autopay. It's easy to set up and is the best way to stay current with your account. You can set up autopay with the facility manager when you rent, or by logging into "My Account" in the upper right-hand corner of our website. Once logged in, select "My Units" from the navigation bar. You can turn on, turn off, or manage your autopay from there.

Do you refund or prorate the move out?

All of our leases are month-to-month and we do not prorate move out. If you have moved out by the first of the month, you will not be billed for that month.

How much notice do I have to give to move out?

You will need to provide notice before the month you plan to move out. For example, if you are planning to move out in January, notice should be turned in by December 31st.

How often will my rate increase?

From time to time, there may be a minimal adjustment to your rental rate. We strive to provide the most competitive rates, but we also want to maintain the best facilities in the industry.

What if there is an emergency or hardship and I can't pay?

In the event of an emergency or hardship, please contact your facility manager.

When is my rent due?

Your rental fees are always due on the first of the month.

What if the first is on a weekend or holiday and the office is closed?

Rent is always due on the first of the month. You can pay online, set up autopay, or pay a day early. Our customer service center is also available to take payment every day except Christmas.

Can I pay my bill online?

Absolutely! Log in to "My Account" in the upper right-hand corner of our website.

From the main screen, scroll down to the "Payment" section. Use the dropdown to select or add your payment method. Next, use the "Payment Amount" dropdown to select "Balance Due" or "Upcoming" and then choose how many months you wish to pay.

Once you've decided your payment amount and how much to pay, click "Pay Now" and the payment will be processed.

How can I make a payment?

Click "My Account" in the upper right-hand corner to log into your account to make a payment.

We also offer autopay so you don't have to worry about your bill each month. If you prefer, you can always stop by the facility during office hours to pay in person.

When is the first payment due?

You can save time on moving day by renting online and submitting payment. If you prefer, you can pay in-store during the check-in process. After that, payments are due on the first of the month.

Late Payment

Will a late payment affect my credit?

No, we do not report to the credit bureaus.

Can I make a partial payment?

No, we do not accept partial payments under any circumstances.

Is there a grace period?

No, rent is due on the 1st of every month. Please check your lease for more information regarding the delinquency process.

What if I can't pay my bill?

If you are not going to be able to pay your bill at the first of the month, contact your facility manager as soon as possible.

What happens if my rent is late?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month. Refer to your country, state, or provincial guidelines and please check your lease for more information regarding the delinquency process.

What happens if my unit is auctioned?

It is not our intention to auction away your belongings. You will be notified multiple times before an auction occurs, so you have more than enough time to resolve your delinquency.

When are your storage locker auctions?

There is no schedule for auctions; they're only done as needed. Please contact your local facility to find out where they post their auction information.
